Kiwanis Club of Western Hills

The Kiwanis Club of Western Hills is one of three active Kiwanis clubs in Corvallis, Oregon.
It meets every Tuesday from 5:45 pm to 7:00 pm at New China Buffet, 1720 NW 9th Street, Corvallis.

We feel that the Kiwanis Club of Western Hills has a very meaningful and worthwhile impact on our community; and, as our limited budget permits, provides financial assistance to selected organizations. During recent years, we have been involved in the following activities:

Delivering Senior Meals;
Work parties at the Vina Moses Center;
Numerous projects at Whispering Winds Girl Scout Camp;
Sponsoring an annual Old-Fashioned Ice-Cream Social at the Corvallis Senior Center;
Participation in local food drives and Red Cross blood drives;
Financial contributions to Vina Moses Center, Grace Center, Summer Reading Program, Senior Meals, Northwest Medical Teams, Quilts from Caring Hands, Boys & Girls Club etc;
Installation of play ground equipment and other projects at Lancaster Day Care Center.

Old-Fashioned
Ice Cream Social

Each year, the Kiwanis Club of Western Hills sponsors an old-fashioned ice-cream social. Entertainment is provided by local musicians. Ice-cream is available at old-fashioned prices:

All Others:
Cones	10¢
Cookies	5¢
Lemonade	5¢
Sundaes	25¢

Proceeds fund projects that aid local senior citizens.
